About IEC
✓ Import Export (IE) Code is a registration required for persons importing or exporting goods and services from India.
✓ Import Export Code is issued by the Directorate General of Foreign Trade (DGFT), Ministry of Commerce and Industries, Government of India.
✓ Basic details to be provided at the time of applying for Registration are as under:
• Photo of the Proprietor.
• Copy of PAN card of the Proprietor.
• Copy of Passport (first & last page)/Voter’s I-Card/ Driving License/ Aadhar card (any one of these) of the Proprietor
• Sale deed (in case business premise is self-owned) or Rental/Lease Agreement (in case office is rented/ leased) or latest electricity /telephone bill.
• Cancelled Cheque bearing pre-printed name of applicant and A/C No.
